At Karst Aways. Krabi Kayak Tour, we only take 4 persons a day, this makes for a more relaxed kayak tour for you. No more being rushed around from place to place because there are timings to stick to. The day is yours and we are here to help you get the absolute best and most enjoyable experience possible out of it, it's like a day out with friends. Small groups also gives us the ability to kayak through areas with minimal sound, giving us more access and time amongst the incredible diversity of wildlife that can be seen while kayaking in Krabi around the Ao Thalane area.
02. More time.
Through our experience and local knowledge we have put together an exclusive kayak tour route that maximizes time and privacy for all our guests to discover the hidden charms of Krabi's waterways and coastline around Ao Thalane. Our guests have double the time available to them than any other kayak tour, so we don't have any intention of rushing you around. Even your pick up time is personalized, meaning that you wont be left standing out in the heat waiting for us, we will already be there.
03. Our local Knowledge.
We have been kayaking in Krabi, around the Ao Thalane for over 15 Years, and opened Karst Aways Krabi Kayak Tour in 2016. We have learnt so much over that time about the area, and the animals that reside within. We have made it our mission to deliver the same quality kayak tour to every single guest that visits us. This is so important to us that we change the tour time daily, so we are always out at the high tide and able to show all our guests the same amazing sights.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do I need experience to take part in this kayak tour ?
No experience is necessary to take part in our kayak tour. We have catered for most ages, (oldest being 82) and fitness levels without any problems. Although kayaking for the first time can seem pretty daunting to some, kayaking basics can be picked up very quickly and is a very relaxing way to spend some quality time. Any help or advice you think you may need will be covered in the safety brief beforehand. We also have life jackets for all guests.
How long is the kayak tour ?
The kayak tour takes around 5 hours but can vary. This time includes 2 rest stops. One stop is a beach break and the other for our meal. We appreciate everyone has different goals and fitness levels, so the pace is very relaxed and we never rush anyone through the route. Our guests comfort is always important to us.
What time does the kayak tour start ?
The tour start times change on a daily basis and your personal pick up time will be given to you at the start of the query/booking. We do this so all our guests can enjoy the same quality tour by being out when the tide is high, we will never take our guests out on a tide that is too low to see every amazing thing Ao Thalane has to offer.
What should we bring with us ?
For your Kayaking trip with us, we recommend you bring with you.
A good high factor sunscreen. Even on cloudy days, a sunburn is easy to get. we also recommend added sun protection, such as a hat, long sleeve top and even a sarong for the legs. its always better to have these items and not need them.
Mosquito repellent. Although there are surprisingly few in the mangrove, it is again better to have.
Wear casual beachwear, a pair of water shoes, or similar are very useful at the beginning and end of the trip.
How much does it cost and what is provided ?
Because we don't deal with third party sellers, we are able to offer our guests a truly beautiful, one off experience for just 1500 Baht per person, when considering you are getting a unique, personal and private tour, we believe this is great value for money compared to any other tour. For your day we will provide everything you need to enjoy your day with us. Trip insurance. Transport from and back to your accommodation of choice. All kayaking equipment (3 seat kayak per 2 person,) paddles, seats, safety jackets.) An experienced, English speaking guide. First aid. Dry bags. A personal icebox of cold bottled water. Free coffee and bakery goods. A fresh homecooked meal to enjoy on the trip and last but no mean least, Peace, quiet and nature.
What if the trip is cancelled by you or us ?
Not everything goes to plan everytime, so we understand that sometimes a trip has to be cancelled for whatever reason. Because we won't ask you for a deposit, but instead the full amount is paid after the tour has ended, so you won't have to waste any of your valuable vacation time chasing any refunds.
